So today we presented our group assignment. My position was questionier. We had these positions to help us better understand the story. I had to create 5 critical thinking questions. I made 1 question a connection question. The other 4 were based off of the letter in the story.

Write about when you knew you were in trouble

When I was in 8th grade I knew I was in trouble when my mom came to pick me up from school earlier as soon as my teacher called her. I didn’t know she was coming. She checked me out and faked like she was getting me ice cream and sea food. After we got it we went home and my mom whooped me for cheating on my math test.

Write about what you used to know how to do

I used to know how to flip but I can no longer flip due to be gaining like 20 pounds now 😂😂

Write about what you’d planned to do

I plan to go to college and major in counseling & psychology. I’m going to go to spelman university and I’m going to join their cheer team. I’ll get a job while I’m there so I can save for a car and my own apartment. By the time I graduate college I’ll be able to take full responsibility and live on my own. I plan on working at a school counseling high school students. I want to make a lot of money so I can buy my mom a house and give her everything she need like she did for me.

write about something that doesn’t get better

To me something that doesn’t get better is the feeling of not being able to talk to someone you love that has passed. That empty feeling is always there. You can never hear their voice again. It’s always a memory of them that reminds you that their gone and that feeling will never change. Knowing that you can never see their face again or see them walk up to you and talk to you again will never change as long as they are deceased
